JONES, DAVID BEVAN
(Dewi Elfed; 1807 - 1863), minister (B, and Church of Christ and Latter Day Saints - Mormons)
October 1862. He settled in Logan, about a hundred miles north of Salt Lake City, but died of tuberculosis in May or June 1863. He published Eos Dyssul (1838); Cân newydd yn dangos niweidiau meddwdod (n.d.); and Serch Gerdd (n.d.). His work appeared mainly in the Baptist and Mormon periodicals, (

Gomer and Udgorn Seion in particular); but the zenith of his literary career came undoubtedly with his
JONES, EZZELINA GWENHWYFAR
(1921 - 2012), artist and sculptor
, a joint exhibition with

Bell in Oriel Ceri Richards Swansea and an appearance with the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists. The highlight of the decade was the appearance of the bronze head of a collier. preaching - indeed, precise dates of his career are in general hard to come by; but he ministered successively at Pontypridd, Ebbw Vale, Cardiff, Merthyr Tydfil, and Llandudno, returning finally to Ebbw Vale, where he died in January 1873, aged 55. JONES, PETER
(Pedr Fardd; 1775 - 1845), poet and hymnist
entitled ' Manteision ac Anfanteision Ystad Priodas.' He was a contributor to periodicals such as

Gomer and Goleuad Gwynedd. He died at Liverpool, 26 January 1845, and was buried in the churchyard of S. Paul's there; David James (1803 - 1871) officiated at the funeral. In J. H.
