WILLIAMS, Sir GLANMOR (1920 - 2005), historian Institution of South Wales, a Justice of the Peace on the Swansea Bench of Magistrates, and for many years a director of the Dillwyn Building Society in Swansea. He was until the end of his life a keen member and deacon of Capel Gomer Baptist chapel, acting as its precentor even in his last days. He was a member of the University of Wales Board of Celtic Studies for decades and for some years its chairman
