The latter died intestate, and administration was granted (17 September 1765) to his widow, Jane, daughter of Charles Lloyd (IV) of Dolobran - see the article on the Lloyd family of Dolobran. II. LEWIS family Van, , Wiltshire, of which he was lessee. He was Gentleman of the Privy Chamber to prince Henry in 1610 and afterwards to prince Charles. LEWIS, FRANCIS (1713 - 1802), one of the signatories of the American Declaration of Independence property to her nephews, Francis Lewis and Hanbury Pettingal. LEWIS, JANET ELLEN (1900 - 1979), novelist, poet and journalist on the editorial staff of the Daily News and the Sunday Times in the 1930s.
