JONES, MEIRION
(1907 - 1970), educationist
two books, Elizabeth Davies, published by University of Wales Press (1960), and a volume for children, Am Hwyl published by Gwasg Gee in 1967. As the Secretary of Penllyn Historical Society he was the instigator of memorials to Michael D. Jones and John Puleston Jones. He was an elder of the Presbyterian Church of Wales for 27 years, and secretary of Capel

KNIGHT, WILLIAM BRUCE
(1785 - 1845), Welsh scholar, ecclesiastic, and administrator
moved to Llandaff as archdeacon of Glamorgan, becoming also dean of Llandaff in the same year. He died 8 August 1845 and was buried before the altar in the Lady Chapel, Llandaff. In the Welsh orthographical controversy which raged during the beginning of the 19th century he championed the conservative cause against John Jones (

LEWIS GLYN COTHI
(fl. 1447-1486), one of the greatest of the 15th century Welsh bards
