HUGHES, PRYCE (c. 1687 - 1715), American colony planner Pryce Hughes of Llanllugan, Montgomeryshire, was the eldest of three sons and three daughters of Richard Hughes (1663-1700) of Frongoch, chief steward at Powis Castle, and Mary Pryce (1663-1700). The Llanllugan estate came to the Hughes family through this marriage.
