A deacon in the Baptist church at Coedgleision, Betws Bledrws, which was moved to his house at Aberduar, on the removal of Enoch Francis the minister to live in the Newcastle Emlyn district about 1730. He began to preach on the minister's death in 1740, but died in 1742.
