Wales. He was vice-captain of Newport for five seasons and in 1903-4 succeeded Llewellyn

as captain. In 1915-16 he played for Cross Keys, who won the Western Valleys Challenge Cup. Later, in 1918-19, he captained Pill Harriers. At one time he also played for Blackheath. He died 30 December 1928.
