  • ANGHARAD (d. 1162) She was the wife of Gruffudd ap Cynan, was a daughter of Owain ab Edwin, a chieftain of eastern Gwynedd. She married Gruffudd about 1095, during his early struggle for power, and survived her husband many years, dying in 1162.
