(1907 - 1974), Baptist minister and college professor
Emlyn Davies was the youngest of six children born to Edwin and Mary
Jane
Davies, in Froncysylltau, Denbighshire, on 23 April 1907. He had a brother, John, and four sisters, Annie, Nellie, Sarah, and Alice. His father was a foreman in Trefynant bricks and tiles works in Ruabon. He received his early education in Froncysyllte Council School before progressing to the County School in Llangollen. In
