In 1763 he published Rheol o Addoliad ac Ymarfer Duwioldeb i'r Hwsmon - a translation of archbishop Secker's lectures on the Rule of Worship and the Practice of Piety for the Husbandman. His last work to be published was Pregeth ar Salm CXIX, I 65, 1779. According to an entry in the Hirnant parish register he translated in 1784 Theophilus Evans's Drych y Prif Oesoedd, but the translation does not appear to have been published. He died in 1790 and was buried at Pennant 17 July.
