said to have been a native of Ardudwy, Meironnydd. No details regarding his life are known, but many of his poems remain in manuscript, and at least two of them have been printed. Included in his work are two poems to God, one to God and the Virgin Mary, another to S. Winefred, one written by the poet in his old age, a begging poem, and two poems of controversy, or ymryson, addressed to the poet, Tudur Penllyn.
