(Mam o Nedd; 1874 - 1956), delegate to the first assembly of the League of Nations, suffragette, Mistress of the Robes of the Gorsedd of the Bards, and a well-known medium
had a great interest in Welsh culture, though she never completely mastered the Welsh language. She died 31 August 1956 at her home in 18 Cottesmore Gardens, Kensington. She wished for neither flowers nor mourning at her funeral.
