style. None of them succeeded in doing so, but his efforts are probably the most worthy. CATHERINE PRICHARD (Buddug; 1842 - 1909), poet Poetry Daughter of Gweirydd ap Rhys. Born at Cae-crin, Llanrhyddlad, Anglesey, 4 July 1842. She was admitted to the bardic order by

at the Denbigh eisteddfod, 1860, and was given the name Buddug, a name which she had made use of in Udgorn Cymru when

Clwydfardd
' (David Griffith, 1800 - 1894), at Ebenezer chapel, Llandudno and they had three sons and a daughter. He died 17 March 1968 at his home, Bronygarth, Wynn Avenue, Old Colwyn, and following a private service at Bethesda Chapel, Old Colwyn, his remains were cremated at Colwyn Bay Crematorium.
