Iolo Morganwg connected him with Glamorgan, but the fact is that there are rivers in Radnorshire and Pembrokeshire called Hoddnant, in addition to that near Llantwit Major in Glamorgan. Two examples of his work are preserved in the Hendregadredd MS. and some other MSS., these being two awdlau addressed to Ieuan ap Gruffudd Foel of the Aeron valley in Cardiganshire.
