His patrons included the families of Bodeon, Bodfel, Clenennau, Llwydiarth, Myfyrian, Mysoglen, Penrhyn, Plas Newydd, and Ystumcegid. Love poems and englynion are also among his compositions. There is a collection of his poems in Llanstephan MS 122 (236-92).
