No details of his life remain. Two examples of his work have been found in manuscripts, these being a cywydd to Elian Geimiad which gives the legend of that saint (B.M. Add. MS. 14906 (89b); NLW MS 1559B (647)), and part of another, possibly to a member of the family of Gwydrin in Anglesey (Peniarth MS 114 (213)).
